| Maintenance | Special Drug Setup

The Special Drug Setup page allows you to manage secondary group relationships as well as add and manage gases.

The following actions are completed on the Special Drug Setup page.

Secondary

The Secondary view allows you to complete these tasks:

• Set a Primary NDC for a Secondary Group
• Remove a Primary NDC for a Secondary Group
• View Secondary Accumulations

Gases

The Gas view allows you to complete these tasks:

• Add a New Gas or Delete a Gas

Filter Options Panel

1       From the Maintenance menu, select Special Drug Setup.

2       From the DRUG TYPE drop-down menu, select SECONDARY, and click Refresh.

3       To export the Secondary Table, click the Export icon, and select a file format: Excel 2003, Excel 2007, PDF, or CSV.

Selection Panel

The Selection panel displays the secondary details:

• Remove primaries associated with secondary groups.
  NOTE: This will remove ALL group relationships. Previously-earned accumulations for all NDC groupings will be affected.
• To narrow the crosswalk display or to search for a specific item, enter full or partial information in the Search field and click the Search icon.

Secondary Right-click Menu

The Secondary right-click menu also allows the following:

• SET AS PRIMARY: Designate an NDC in a secondary group as the primary accumulating NDC. Go to the Set a Primary NDC topic for further information.
• REMOVE PRIMARY: Remove the primary designation from an NDC. Go to the Remove a Primary NDC topic. NOTE: This will remove the secondary group relationship. Previously earned accumulations for all NDCs in the group will be affected.
• SECONDARY ACCUMULATIONS: View accumulations for NDCs in a secondary group. Go to the View Secondary Accumulations topic for further information.
• VIEW ACCUMULATION DETAILS: View accumulation and purchase history for the NDC. Go to Accumulation Details topic for further information.
• VIEW ACCUMULATION TRACKER: View a visual representation of the accumulation history for the selected NDC. Go to Accumulation Tracker topic for further information.
• DRUG SAVINGS: Displays pharmacy drug savings for active NDC.
• DRUG SPEND: Displays drug spend by month for active NDC.
• PRICING HISTORY: Displays the pricing history chart for the selected item.
