Bulk Update of Qualification Rules: Confirmation Report and new PSA-driven Rule
In the Bulk Update Qualification Rules tool, you can now download a Confirmation Report to see a full summary of the applied rules and which PIDs they were applied to. After applying updates, the report will be available at the bottom of the final Review screen as a link (View Confirmation Report here).
The report will download in .xlsx format and will contain the following information:
- Qualification Rule ID (Element ID)
- Rule Description
- PID
- Pharmacy Name
- Effective Date
- Value
- Termination Date
- Notes
In addition, rule #12 was added to the PSA driven list to prevent you from applying the rule to chain and independent pharmacies. This will show up in the review screen as an error if you attempt to enter the rule incorrectly. If you need to apply rule #12 to chain or independent contract pharmacies you will need to contact Macro Helix support to facilitate this rule addition.

What's Improved
340B Price Restoration
When making bulk exclusions from the 340B Price Restoration page, you can now Select All when using the Hospital, Pharmacy, and Manufacturer dropdown menus. Additionally, the filters for 340B Excluded Only, DNO Only, Out of Range Only, and In Range Only have been relocated next to the drop-down menus to further refine searches prior to generating results. For all filters to be displayed for use, ensure the Include 340B Price Data toggle has been enabled.

Qualification Filters
On the Qualification Filters page within the Data Review menu, the Filter Type options no longer include Utilization Exclusions By Element and Encounter Exclusions By Element. This functionality has been improved and can now be done from the Branch Codes page.
Branch Codes Page
Improvements have been made to the Branch Codes page to ensure that data is moved to the correct pharmacy.
- To prevent branching of retail dispense data outside of the same Chain, you can now only select PIDs from the same Chain from the Branch to PID dropdown menu.
- Similarly, CE-owned pharmacies and Independent pharmacies can only branch to PIDs of the same type, which will be reflected in the Branch to PID dropdown menu.
When branching data through a Manual Upload, the record will fail if the Branch From and Branch To PID are not the same Covered Entity Owned and Pharmacy Chain type.
For all import file types on both the Hospital Branch Codes and Pharmacy Branch Codes tab, the Branch From and Branch To dropdowns should only display active HIDs/PIDs that you have access to. In addition, the Branch To dropdown options will no longer include the Branch From PID to ensure they are not the same.

340B Impact: Account Table and Orphan Optimization Changes
The Account Table column order has been changed to improve user experience. No columns have been removed from the table.
On the Orphan Optimization page, we will now only identify items where the 340B price is at least 15% less than the price on the default account to ensure meaningful opportunities are identified.
- For CAN entity type, the 340B Price must be at least 15% less than the WAC account.
- For RRC, SCH, and CAH entity types, the 340B price must be at least 15% less than the GPO account.
