April 2023 Release Notes

What's New

340B Price Restoration

340B ESP Data Submission

Delete

Macro Helix can now submit claims data for your designated manufacturers, avoiding the need to manually submit each claim through the 340 ESP website. You can track submissions through the new Data Submission Enrollment page in 340B Architect, located within the 340B Price Restoration menu.

The New Data Submission Setup button allows you to select the manufacturers/PIDs for which you would like to send data. Once Confirm Data Submission has been selected, a summary screen will appear with a legal disclaimer. Click the box to confirm and then click Confirm Data Submission again.

The Data Submission Enrollment Page will show a list of HIDs/PIDs and the status of any data sent by Macro Helix to ESP. Clicking the Historical File Download button displays a full list of files sent to 340B ESP, along with the HID, Submitted Date, Status of Submission, and a download link.

  • The download link is only available when the status is Processed, Sent
  • Data is sent to 340 ESP every 15 days from go-live.
  • The Export button allows you to download the page as an excel file.
  • You must first register in 340B ESP before enrolling with Macro Helix. To do so, go to  http://www.340Besp.com/register.

Bulk Exclusions

New toggle filters are now available on the Bulk Exclusions Page to help simplify your search.

  • 340B Excluded only: Show items that are 340B excluded.
  • DNO only: Show items that are on the DNO list.
  • Out of Range only: Show items that are outside of the 20% range of the average wholesaler price.
  • In Range only: Pricing has likely been restored and are ready for review. Pricing is within 20% of the average wholesaler price.

These toggle filters will display when the other filters pane collapses, after clicking Update Display. You must select Include 340B Price Data to see all filters. Also, you cannot select both In Range only and Out of Range only.

What's Improved

Branch Codes

On the Branch Codes Page, we have made a few usability improvements, including:

  • Expanding the Value column to view longer branch codes.
  • In the Column dropdown, NABP has been renamed to Store ID.
  • In the Branch to HID field, the (Excluded) note has been added to indicate what -99 means.
  • If you try to add a branch code, but the logged in HID does not have any active import specs in place, you will get an error message.

You can now submit a backdated branch code data move request for any file type other than Retail Dispense. You will then receive an email with the details of the request.

Once backdated Branch Codes have been applied, the appropriate Patient Encounter data will be moved within the Corporate Parent’s PIDs/HIDs accordingly.

Under Branching Setup, there is now an indication of whether branch codes were set up from HL7 or flat files, which will appear under Mapped Files. HL7 feeds will only be used for branching Drug Utilization and Patient Encounter files.

The Move Paste Date field in the Branch Codes upload template has been renamed to Move Past Data.
