Overview
The filter names defined below are found in the right panel on the pages within 340B Impact. They can be used to refine the data displayed in the visuals on each page. Filter selections applied using the right-panel filters or the filters at the top of the page will persist as you navigate between pages. All filters are available for the Performance Overview, Drug Spend, Hospital Savings, Net WAC Impact, and Retail Performance analytics pages. For the Generics, Mixed Use, and Orphan Optimization pages, only the following filters are available:

Service Type
Filters Defined
Therapeutic Group
General drug groups frequently used in general market research and third-party prescription processing, for example, Penicillins, Contraceptives, and Anti-Diabetics.
Therapeutic Class
Specific therapeutic drug classes designed to accommodate more detailed market research, for example, Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibitors, Loop Diuretics, and Mercurial Diuretics.
Drug Name
The generic or chemical name of a drug, for example, Dexamethasone Acetate and Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate.
Brand Group
Designates the branded name of the product. For generic drugs, the associated brand name is used where it is available to be mapped. However, if there are multiple brand names available or no brand name at all, the original generic name is used to avoid incorrect assumptions.
NDC
11-digit drug identifier; the level at which accumulations are maintained in 340B Architect.
Orphan Indicator
Identifies whether the drug is considered an orphan drug based on the list compiled by the McKesson 340B Solutions team. There may be discrepancies when compared to the Macro Helix list used in Architect.
Manufacturer
Identifies the manufacturer specific to each NDC based on Medi-Span data.
Vendor Type
Identifies whether the drug was purchased through a McKesson or non- McKesson account such as a secondary wholesaler or direct manufacturer account. The following view by options are available:
All: Shows McKesson and non-McKesson account purchases. Non-McKesson accounts are those listed in 340B Architect.
McKesson: Only show McKesson account purchases.
Other: Show only non-McKesson account purchases.
Vendor
Identifies the wholesaler and/or direct drug supplier(s) for each account.
TPA (Third-Party Administrator)
Identifies whether the account is associated with Macro Helix, another TPA, or not split by any TPA (clean 340B or GPO sites, etc.). The following view by options are available:
All: Shows account data from Macro Helix, Other TPAs, and None.
Macro Helix: Shows data for accounts splitting through Macro Helix.
None: Shows data for accounts that are not splitting through Macro Helix or another TPA (clean sites).
Other: Shows data for accounts that are managed by a TPA other than Macro Helix.
Entity Type
The HRSA designation of the covered entity as registered on OPAIS.
Account Type
Identifies whether the account is considered 340B, GPO, or WAC. Retail accounts are classified as WAC in 340B Impact.
HID
A Macro Helix assigned hospital identification number.
Parent PID Group
List of Parent PIDs included in parent/child relationships in Macro Helix which allows an entire parent/child group to be filtered.
PID
A Macro Helix assigned pharmacy identification number.
System Group
This can be used in the account table to identify groups of hospitals under the main health system for ease of filtering. This value may be blank if you choose not to use this classification to group your hospitals.
Hospital
The hospital names listed in this filter reflect all the health system’s covered entities registered on OPAIS.
Service Type
Identifies the patient care setting in which the account is used:
Hospital - Mixed Use: The main hospital pharmacy.
Hospital - Ambulatory: Includes ambulatory surgery centers, infusion centers, and off-site ERs that do not require hospitalization.
Hospital - Owned Retail/Specialty: Retail or specialty pharmacy owned by the health system.
Contract Pharmacy - Specialty: Listed on OPAIS as a contract pharmacy.
Contract Pharmacy - Retail: Listed on OPAIS as a contract pharmacy.
Ancillary: Nursing home or skilled nursing facility.
Location
Groups retail locations together such as contract pharmacy chains or hospital outpatient pharmacies.
Account Number
Wholesaler assigned account number used to make purchases for pharmacies of a health system.
Account Name
The McKesson assigned account description. This field is typically populated for McKesson accounts unless specifically requested by the customer.
